Summer Salad Recipe

This is one of my favorite summer salads--it contains the well-matched feta and strawberries--but also my version includes glazed walnuts, scallions and a balsamic honey vinaigrette--all best served on a bed of some sort of robustly flavored greens.

I like to serve it with a warm loaf of french bread and some european-style butter and a glass of red wine.

And those glazed walnuts in the recipe? Double the recipe and keep some extra around for serving with cheese for an evening snack.

Easy. Simple. Delicious. Now you go and enjoy it. You can download the recipe for salad, vinaigrette, and glazed walnuts here:

I bet this would be great with blueberries and peaches too. Thanks.

Mmmm...blueberries. Almost anything is better with blueberries, in my world. I will have to try that. I once had a roasted duck dish that was served with a wild blueberry sauce...it was SO good.

Excellent salad! We, in Greece, usually use green apple instead of strawberries. Do try it too.
